DELIVERY

Orders placed before 1.00pm Monday – Friday will be dispatched from us the same day via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery which is our standard service for the UK.  Some places take longer to deliver to, but they will still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 pm.

Please note we dispatch goods Monday – Friday. Any orders placed between Friday 2pm and Sunday will be shipped on the Monday. There will be no shipping on UK Bank Holidays.

All deliveries must be signed for.

Saturday Deliveries:

Unfortunately, due to restrictions with Royal Mail, we can no longer send Saturday Guaranteed items.

International Deliveries:

For overseas customers we ship Royal Mail International recorded and signed for service which is 5-7 working days for arrival.

Delivery Charges:

£3.95 – Recorded Delivery – Orders MUST be placed before 1:00pm for Next Day Delivery, any orders taken after 2.00pm will be processed the next working day. This is a 99.9% guaranteed service from Royal Mail. We are not responsible for late deliveries due to Royal Mail errors, however if you feel your delivery has been delivered late please contact us and we will provide you with the relevant details to make a claim for compensation. Coverage across the UK* only.

International Delivery Price – £14.95

All International orders are posted via International Signed for Post.

All Postal Rates are inclusive of UK VAT.

Incorrect Delivery Details:

It is the customer’s responsibility to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. If the customer enters the incorrect or incomplete address and goods are delivered to the wrong address, we are under no obligation to issue a refund or send replacement goods. If goods are returned to us if they have been sent to the wrong address we are not obliged to re-send at our expense, however, a refund will be offered less the postal expense.

Delivery Delays:

Pure Strands shall not be liable for delay or failure to deliver or perform due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, or for Acts of God, acts of Buyer, acts of any governmental authority, strikes or other labour disturbances, delays in transportation, fuel or energy shortages, or inability to obtain necessary components, services, or facilities from usual sources.

In the unlikely event a parcel is delayed with Royal Mail we will work with you to trace and locate the parcel as promptly as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to report an item as missing until 15 working days after original shipment date, due to Royal Mail shipping terms and conditions.

We are therefore unable to deem an item as lost until this time and will not refund or replace until 15 working days from original shipment date has passed and for items sent overseas is not deemed to be lost or delayed until at least 25 working days have passed.

RETURNS POLICY

“Our returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.  This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the seller. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations.

Consumers have the option to change their mind and cancel order between the time of placing it and 7 working days starting from the day after delivery.  Cancellation must be made either in writing by  e-mailing us at contact@purestrands.co.uk.

Once you have cancelled the contract, you have a legal “duty of care” to take good care of the goods and return them to us at your expense. Duty of care would include not opening the packaging of the product. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations we will refund you the full amount paid for the goods within 30 days of receipt of the notice of cancellation.”

You have the right to cancel your order for goods at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery of the goods by contacting contact@purestrands.co.uk.  As part of the Consumer Protection Regulations Act 2000, certain goods by reason of their nature cannot be returned. Hair extensions are hygiene sensitive products, therefore once the seal has been broken or the extensions have been taken out of thier packaging , they will be exempt of a refund or exchange. Therefore your right to return is on the basis that we will be able to re-sell the goods to another customer as new when you return them to us; so please do not use or open any sealed packaging. Special Orders

Special orders made to customer’s specifications are excluded from the cancellation provisions of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.  However, in the event that a special order item is found to be faulty please contact us either by telephone, email or post.  We may then offer you an exchange or a monetary refund dependant on the nature of the problem. Original delivery costs will be refunded only if the item is faulty, damaged in delivery or if it differs in any way

from the advertised goods. Returned parcels remain the responsibility of the customer until safely received by us. The company does not pay ‘return’ carriage unless an item is faulty, or it differs in any way from the advertised goods.”

If the products have already been posted to you (or on your behalf to any other person), you (or the other person) must return the products to us within 7 days of receiving your notice for cancellation and we will credit your credit or debit card with the price of the products within 30 days beginning with the day on which notice of cancellation was given. You should return products with a copy of the original invoice.

When returning goods we recommend that you use recorded delivery, or obtain a proof of posting (a proof of posting can be obtained free of charge at any Post Office). We will refund your money to the same credit, debit card or PayPal account originally used (or in the form of other method of payment) by you to pay for your purchase.

If you do not return the goods within 7 days of your cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point a new purchase contract will be made and you will be charged for your order at the price set out on the web site.
